How to incorporate the hottest summer trends into your work wear?

As we head into the end of summer (which is not really the case of all of who live in Dubai), our work wardrobes are following the latest summer trends. Here are some of the key trends you need to know about to put your best fashion foot forwards:

• ‘80s vibes: ‘80s style lovers will be happy to know that this trend is not going anywhere this summer. Spotted on the runways of Moschino, Isabel Marant and Saint Lauren, this is not a trend to be ignored. Get yourself a blazer with big shoulders to rock this look in the office.

• Super brights: The S/S 17 shows saw a rainbow of colours on the runway, with everyone from Balenciaga, Max Mara and Celine showcasing pinks, yellows and greens. Brighten up your work day by incorporating colour into your office looks. Dare to be bold with a bright green heel or sunny yellow work shirt.

  

• Florals: Florals for spring are not exactly ground breaking, as we learnt from The Devil Wears Prada. But head to toe florals are so in this S/S 17, as seen at Dolce & Gabbana, Chloe and Miu Miu among other. Get yourself a floral print midi dress, perfect for those all-important lunch meetings.

  

• Utility: Spotted at Stella McCartney, Chloe and Kenzo, this is an easy trend to adopt in the workplace. Comfortable yet stylish, incorporating some khaki or a muted buckled dress is a simple way to implement this trend.
