Solar Freckles

Sun spots are circular or oval hyper-pigmented epidermal formations 2-4 mm in size. Their appearance is initiated by UV rays, which activates the formation of melanin in the melanocytes.

Where do they appear?

Solar freckles appear in places that are constantly exposed to sunlight. The face, neck, shoulders are the main targets.

Natural treatments for solar freckles:

1. Lemon soda
Citric acid in lemon helps to lighten the freckles. The squeezed lemon juice is applied to the face with light massaging movements for 10 to 15 minutes. After treatment, wash your face with lukewarm water. Apply once a day.

2. Honey
Honey contains enzymes that lighten epidermal patches naturally. Mix 1 spoon of honey with a little water, then heat the mixture until it blends. Apply to the affected areas of the skin for several minutes. Wash with lukewarm water.

3. Yoghurt
Lactic acid helps in brightening, especially for thin skin. 10-15 minutes a day are enough for yogurt to react on the affected part of the skin, then wash it with lukewarm water.

4. Papaya
Papaya helps for gentle exfoliation and speeds up the regeneration of the skin. Green papaya is recommended. Apply the blended papaya to the skin for 15 minutes and then wash with water.

5. Cucumber
Cucumber has incredible power in revitalizing the skin. In addition to vitamin E and omega-3, the vegetable contains the photo-sterols that make the skin soft and shiny. The cucumber is placed on the skin for 15 minutes, then washed with water. Can be repeated every day.

6. Banana and Mint
The banana in a combo with mint helps to brighten the skin. Banana contains salicylic acid, which exfoliates and mint helps, with its abundance of antioxidants, for delicate skin. Blend a banana and a few leaves of peppermint, and then apply the mix to the skin for 15 minutes. Wash with lukewarm water.
