This ?International Women’s Day? I’m reflecting a bit on how the world has changed in the past few years. How the things that we once only whispered about now take center stage. Even though so much gender inequality still exists, the conversation is growing louder. The progress is being measured. The jerks are being called out. The world is being educated. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That aside, International Women’s Day, to me, is a chance to celebrate women—period. When I stop to take stock of the women in my life and the guidance they’ve given me, the support they’ve provided, and how they have stood by me through thick and thin, I feel lucky. In my 34 revolutions around the sun, I’m blessed to have met so many incredible, inspiring, and powerful women. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But not everyone is fortunate enough to have that. Some of us may be seeking new female mentors, co-conspirators, or just plain friends. It’s what I see land most consistently about what we do at Girlboss—that like-minded curious, ambitious, kind, and generous women are able to find one another and create virtue not just for themselves but for each other. Here’s to growing that halo, and letting it shine so brightly that someday the generation ahead of us are unable to remember a world where finding access to so much brilliant female energy was ever a challenge. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #girlboss #iwd #internationalwomensday #iwd2019

Want to be in the badass babes club? All it takes is believing in yourself. Even if everyone thinks you and your ideas are crazy or weird or stupid.. be you. Trying to be like everyone else guarantees one thing, you’ll be like everyone else! And you may never discover just how bad ass you truly are. If you're quiet with yourself and listen, your intuition will always lead you to your purpose. You just have to manage the negative self-talk. The pathways in our brains are like highways, the more you think negatively, the wider the highway becomes. It's up to you to believe in yourself and build positive highways in your brain.. I promise you they'll lead you to the Badass Babes Club. #MondayMugshot #MondayMotivation #Entrepreneur #BadassBabesClub
