Although in the last few seasons tights and stockings were almost absent from the fashion catwalks, for Autumn/ Winter 2019 they officially return.
The big labels do not hesitate to show their version to the garment and even experiment with it in the boldest ways possible. Tom Ford combines bright yellow-green animal print both in the dresses and in the stockings; Gucci opts for white lace, while Carl Lagerfeld uses metallic tones and lurex at Chanel.
Gucci’s suggestion is undoubtedly boasting the broad popularity of the street style scene, and there are more interpretations of the logos theme, viewed in predominantly white but also black or colour.
If the white colour is undeniably predominant, it does not mean that it excludes other brave versions in yellow and purple, and green leopard.
Of course, there is a safe approach to adopting this small but mighty trend and these are the polka dots. The Polka dot motif has become widespread since the past winter season, and now it still sounds like a still good option, working magnificently with any evening look.
