The style of Chiara Ferragni

From the red carpet to Harvard, the stylish amplitude of the street star attracts attention. And there is a reason!

The blogger of the year, designer, model, fashion consultant, and now study case of Harvard – Chiara Ferragni is one of the most recognisable people in fashion business.

How does it all begin? She liked to shoot her outfits while still studying law at Bocconi University, sounds simple right?

“I loved sharing my photos. This was the reason I did the next step in creating my blog. I chose the name The Blonde Salad, because I wanted it to represent me to the people who will come into it. When I started I was really blond, I mean … very blond. They asked me why I chose to call it Salad. This question always makes me laugh, but the truth is, my blog was not created to be just fashion-oriented. I wanted it to be a mix of colours and topics. Just like the salad: you have tomatoes – put them on, add the rest of the pesto, the lettuce … a complete mess. The ingredients of my salad are my travels, my adventures and my friends’ meetings, my fashionable finds, my inputs and my photographs, “she says.

At age 31, Chiara is one of the most successful business ladies. Born in Cremona in a family of writer and dentist, she is currently touring the world from Tokyo to New York taking part in the hottest fashion events.

Her style is glamorous, playful and sexy, because as she likes to say – ” one should not take themselves too seriously.” The charming blonde manages to build a whole empire and make some super successful collaborations with names such as Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Max Mara, Chanel and Tommy Hilfiger. Even becoming a mother to a charming little boy Leone, haven’t changed her style much.

Her blog The Blonde Salad has millions of social followers, and a few seasons ago, Chiara also released her own fashion collection, where she is able to give her all her personal preferences a stage – rock’n’roll, glitter, and a pinch of decadence. And all this with her sense of humour – her brand’s logo is her big blue eyes, flip-flops, espresso, neon sandals, boots, and phone cases.

Her wedding created more social media hype than Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s and generated a buzz of over 5 million dollars of media coverage for Dior (the designer of her dress).

And as Chiara says #TheBlondeSaladNeverStops!
